My stay in Alaska continues so I thought I would share some more pictures I have taken over this past week.

Here I am standing outside by the parking lot of the launch control center.  There is definitely a nice view here!

Snow Storm

It has been a while since I have been in a good snow storm.  For the week I have been in Alaska we have had good weather -- cold, but mostly clear.  That ended this afternoon.  Here are some pictures of the snow coming down.  

On our short drive from work to the lodge we pass a bison ranch.  Today there were a couple bison close to the road and I thought it was a great photo opportunity.  Now before anyone worries these pictures were taken from the car with the window only partly rolled down (cause it was snowing)!!!





Kodiak Alaska

I am on Kodiak Island Alaska for work.  We are preparing for a launch in May and so I am here for most of the next couple months.  I am amazed how beautiful the island is.  Today I drove around and near the town sightseeing.  Here are a few of the photos I took as well as a slideshow with all the pictures I took today.
